Brazilian singer Ilana Volcov and Italian-Caribbean guitarist Nino Cordero, experts in the exuberant music of Brazil, present “Choro Negro”, a concert that illuminates the presence of African culture in Brazilian music, characterized by "banzo" (lament), both in ballads and festive songs. The repertoire features composers such as Garoto, Abel Ferreira, Tom Jobim, Guinga, Vadico, Edu Lobo, Ernesto Nazareth and Paulinho da Viola, including songs recorded by Ilana Volcov in her newest album “Acariciando” released in March 2025.

De Braziliaanse zangeres Ilana Volcov en de Italiaans-Caribische gitarist Nino Cordero, experts in de uitbundige muziek van Brazilië, presenteren “Choro Negro”, een concert dat de aanwezigheid van de Afrikaanse cultuur in de Braziliaanse muziek belicht, gekenmerkt door "banzo" (klaagzang), zowel in ballades als in feestelijke liederen.
